| Major Responsibilities:
- Recruit, supervise, organize and evaluate staff
- Responsible for the marketing and promotion of all summer programs, particularly through school presentations
- Maintain a safe and clean camp environment
- Act as a resource for programmers who require assistance with participants
- Administration of medications, as required. Ensure that all Policies and Procedures pertaining to medications are adhered to
- Handle program feedback in a professional manner by providing exceptional customer service
- Complete Accident/ Incident reports as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience coaching and evaluating staff
- Current Standard/ Emergency First Aid and CPR
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification, an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills coupled with exceptional customer service skills
- Valid Ontario Class G or G2 Driver’s Licence
- Must have full time use of a vehicle
- Flexible to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
Rate of Pay:$12.60 to $15.50 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Research, implement, and deliver age appropriate activities
- Supervise campers at all times
- Plan, organize and implement special events
- Maintain a safe and clean camp environment
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Adhere to daily camp schedules and guidelines
- Report all incidents/accidents and assist with camp emergency procedures
- Interact with and ensure parents/guardians are informed of the participant’s daily activities and over all well being
Qualifications:
- Completed grade 11 education
- 2 years experience in a camp environment (Playground Leader)
- Current First Aid Certificate (Playground Leader)
- Current Emergency First Aid or Standard First Aid (Special Needs Staff)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certificate, an asset
- Proven leadership skills along with the ability to work within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills coupled with exceptional customer service skills
- Customer Service Excellence training
- Flexible to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
Rate of Pay:Minimum wage to $13.00 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure specialized programming meets the needs of all campers and are appropriately delivered
- Handle program feedback in a professional manner by providing exceptional customer service
- Assist with the planning, organizing, evaluating and documentation of staff training for camp staff
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of pre-camp and in service staff training
- Maintain a safe and clean camp environment
- Act as a resource for staff who require assistance with participants
- Administration of medications, as required. Ensure that all Policies and Procedures pertaining to medications are adhered to
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Current Emergency First Aid or Standard First Aid (Special Needs Staff)

- National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate, an asset

Rate of Pay:$11.00 to $14.00 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Organize, implement and supervise activities designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth for preschoolers
- Room set up and craft preparation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Regular sanitation and daily inspection of program equipment to ensure safe condition
- Promote programs to parent, participants and the community at large
Qualifications:
- Experience working with infants and preschoolers
- Current Emergency First Aid (1 day course)
- Enjoy working with preschoolers
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment.
Rate of Pay:Minimum wage to $20.50 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide a fun, safe program for the children in your care
- Teach children the basics of 4 different sports: t-ball, soccer, lacrosse and ball hockey
- Initiate sports activities that are age appropriate for the children in your care
- Monitor the number of children in your group and what they are doing. Their safety and comfort are your primary concern
- Ensure that equipment is inspected weekly for damaged or broken pieces. Discard if unsafe.
Qualifications:
- Current Emergency First Aid (1 day course)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
Rate of Pay:Minimum wage to $12.00 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Respond to first aid/medical emergencies and provide first aid care to camp participants
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Complete open and close First Aid checklists and maintain accurate inventory of supplies
- Administer medication to camp participants in accordance with the Corporate Administering Medications Policy
- Maintain accurate medication records for all campers required to take medication during camp hours
- Complete and follow-up on all accident reports and additional forms
- Assist program participants with daily needs and personal hygiene , if required
- Maintain a safe and clean program environment
- Provide input into a final seasonal report commenting on strengths and weaknesses, participation, etc.
Qualifications:
- Second year nursing student
- Experience in working with children
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR “C”
- Proven leadership skills along with the ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills coupled with exceptional customer service skills
- Customer Service Excellence training
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
Rate of Pay:$11.00 to $14.00 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Assist to prepare, conduct and organize pre-camp and in service staff training
- Responsible for payroll/group lists/follow-up phone calls in the event of an absent camper
- Prepares staff, specialists schedules, camp swims and other administrative duties, as required
- Prepares and distributes meeting minutes in a timely manner
- Assist with the organization and delivery of the extended day care program
Qualifications:
- College/University student
- 3 years of experience in a camp environment
- Current Standard/ Emergency First Aid and CPR
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification, an asset
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
Rate of Pay:$14.00 to $21.00 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Work as an integral member of staff contributing ideas, problem solving and acting as a resource to staff in behaviour management
- Search, implement and deliver training, meetings, workshops for all camp staff in A.D.D. / A.D.H.D., etc.
- Establish, maintain and review a liaison role with new and existing families
- Maintain a liaison role with the network of agencies involved with campers; assessing campers leisure needs
- Ensure awareness of all types of available activities and recreational opportunities
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Child/Youth Work, Social Work or related field
- Experience with issues relating to children and youth in the community with an emphasis on behaviour management
- Working knowledge of the Child and Family Services Act
- Solid knowledge of MS Office
- Previous work experience in day/residential camps, playgrounds or recreational programs ,an asset
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal effectively in a professional manner
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Valid Ontario Class G or G2 Driver’s Licence
- Must have use of a vehicle
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
Rate of Pay:$14.00 to $21.00 per hour

- Deliver aquatic programs following required standards
- Supervise program participants and ensiure their safety
- Maintain a safe and clean facility
Qualifications:
- Current Red Cross Water Safety Instructors and/or LSS Swim Instructors and LSS Lifesaving Instructors
- Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS)
- Current Standard First Aid /CPR 'C', AED
- Additional certifications may be required based on program
- 16 years of age or older
- Excellent customer service skills
