| Major Responsibilities:
- Deliver aquatic programs following required standards
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist in adhering to the rules and regulations governing the safety and conduct of participants
- Supervise program participants and ensure their safety
- Maintain a safe, clean facility and ensure equipment is stored appropriately
- Complete all required administration and paperwork
Slide Attendant: Ensure slide is in safe working condition, all buoy lines are in place, two-way communication system is in place and operational, and proper signage is posted
Qualifications:
- Current Red Cross Assistant Water Safety Instructors, Bronze Cross
- Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) preferred
- Current Standard First Aid /CPR ‘C’, AED
- 15 years of age or older
- Related volunteer experience an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
Rate of Pay:Minimum wage to $11.00 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and evaluate aquatic programs to maintain a high level of service, including aquatic related activities for day camps, theme swims and special events
- Deliver aquatic programs following required standards
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Supervise program participants and ensure their safety
- Plan, organize and evaluate staff training and staff training initiatives (In-Season staff trainings).
- Maintain a safe, clean facility and ensure equipment is stored appropriately
- Supervise, train and evaluate part-time staff and volunteers to maintain high quality of service
- Assist in managing and tracking staff documentation including term and task, payroll, qualifications, evaluations, staff training files, etc.
- Administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year supervisory experience
- Minimum 1-year of experience in a Waterfront setting (Professor’s Lake only)
- Current Standard First Aid/ CPR ‘C’, AED
- Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS)
- Current NLS - Waterfront and valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card PCOC (Professor’s Lake Only)
- Aquatic Supervisory Training
- At least one advanced Instructors certification (NLS Instructors, First Aid Instructors, Instructor Trainer)
- Additional Aquatic qualifications an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
Rate of Pay:$11.00 to $12.80 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Deliver aquatic programs following required standards

- Supervise program participants and ensure their safety
- Maintain a safe, clean facility and ensure equipment is stored appropriately
- Complete necessary compliance checks in accordance to Health Regulation 565/90
- Administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 100 hours guarding and 150 hours instructing experience
- Current Red Cross Water Safety Instructors and/or LSS Swim Instructors and LSS Lifesaving Instructors
- Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS)
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR ‘C’, AED
- Aquatic Supervisory Training (AST)
- Additional aquatic qualifications an asset

Instructor:
- Current Red Cross Water Safety Instructors and/or LSS Swim instructors and LSS Lifesaving Instructors
- Current Bronze Cross or National Lifeguard Service (NLS) preferred
- Current Standard First Aid /CPR 'C', AED
Previous experience in a waterfront setting preferred (Professor’s Lake Only)
16 years of age or older
Assistant Instructor volunteer experience preferred
Additional aquatic qualifications an asset

Rate of Pay:$10.40 to $12.60 per hour

- Supervise, train and evaluate part-time staff and volunteers to maintain a high quality of service. Duties may include scheduling, recruitment and development of staff

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a Waterfront setting (Professor’s Lake Only)

Rate of Pay:$11.60 to $26.00 per hour
| | Major Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train and evaluate volunteers to maintain high quality of service. Duties
also may include recruiting, scheduling, development of volunteers.
- Plan, implement and evaluate volunteers programs to maintain a high profile of
service including aquatic related activities for day camps, theme swims and special
events
- Plan, organize and evaluate staff training and staff training initiatives (Seasonal staff
trainings)
- Provide superior customer service coupled with outstanding public relations
- Complete all required administration and paperwork
- Maintain accurate data on attendance statistics, volunteer registrations and files
- Manage and track all volunteer documentation
- Report on percent fill rates, trends, target achievements, and potential areas for
growth using data collected
- Assist with managing budget expenditures
- Ensure that the policies and procedures and staff handbook guidelines for the City of
Brampton are understood and followed
- Report all accidents and incidents, for volunteers or staff, in a timely manner

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year deck supervisory experience
- Lifesaving Society Swim Instructors and Lifesaving Society Lifesaving Instructors
- Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS)
- Airway Management
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR ‘C’, AED (From one of the following agencies:
- Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross, Ski Patrol, and St. Johns Ambulance)
- 18 years or older
- Aquatic Supervisory Training (AST)
- Additional aquatic qualifications an asset
- Good performance record
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment
