As a Regional Councillor for Wards 7 and 8, I am immensely proud to live and work in a city that truly works beautifully. Brampton offers numerous opportunities, facilities and services to all citizens. Be it business opportunities or recreation facilities, entertainment or shopping, sports or outdoor lifestyle - our city has it all.
I am dedicated in making sure our Community, Government, Health and Emergency Services are always my top priorities. I was very pleased to work with the Safe City Association to help Brampton earn its recognition by the World Health Organization as a Safe Community.
As the Council representative serving on Accessibility Committee at both the City and Regional levels, we are working to ensure accessible standards are met. With legislation mandated by the Ontario government, Brampton has acted quickly to ensure that buses, playgrounds, taxis and buildings are accessible for everyone. Although there is much more work to do in this area, we are working hard to break down barriers for those needing accessibility.
We are fortunate to live in this amazing city that has so much to offer every season of the year. I invite you visit my web page on a regular basis to see what's happening in your city.
