As a Council representative on several key boards, such as the Toronto Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) Board, the Brampton Public Library Board, and the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) Noise Management Committee, I have had the privilege to advance the views and positions of our local government and our community.  I also serve as Chair of the City of Brampton's By-laws and Licensing Committee. 
 
Community involvement in the local government process is an important priority that I reinforce regularly with my constituents.  This level of engagement led to the development of the Brampton Soccer Centre, an example of the power of community participation.
