Planning, Design and Development Committee 

Mandate:

Planning, Design and Development Committee considers and make recommendations on planning and development matters within the jurisdiction of the Planning, Design and Development Department, except for matters related to the Sign By-law.

 

The committee also holds the statutory public meetings for planning and development applications and amendments, as required by the Planning Act.

Planning, Design and Development Committee reports to City Council.


Meetings:

This Committee meets every two weeks, generally on the first Monday and third Monday of each month.  It meets on the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m.,  for statutory public meetings required by the Planning Act.  The meeting on the third Monday of each month begins at 1 p.m.
