Sheridan College will celebrate over 40 years of achievements in October. The celebration will highlight contributions the college has made to communities it has served for four decades.

Sheridan educates approximately 15,000 full-time students annually at its campuses in Oakville and Brampton. The Brampton, Davis campus is home to approximately 6,500 students. The Davis campus located near Steeles and McLaughlin Road features a brand new student centre called the Rec Room, along with an athletic facility, library, full-service cafeteria all situated in a peaceful park setting. This campus is also the location of the new Advanced Manufacturing teaching centre.

A Gala, Big Picture event will take place October 25 with the distinguished guest speaker being none other than who the campus is named, William G. Davis. Brampton’s own Bill Davis, former premier of Ontario and the man credited for the start up of the community college system in this province will offer his own observations and views about Sheridan, past, present and future.
