Brampton Ranks Well With REIN

The Real Estate Investment Network’s (REIN™) release of Top Ontario Investment Towns analyzes the current and future prospects for real estate investment opportunities in Ontario. The 102-page report states that recent market correction provides buying opportunities for home owners and investors; however, only in select regions of the province. It identifies which areas will outperform in the coming decade and finds that the Brampton is among the top regions in Ontario in which to invest in real estate.

The release of this annual report sees Brampton move up two places and marks the eigth consecutive year the City has ranked among the top locations. Last year, as a result of its' 6th place rank Brampton's Economic Development Office hosted 6 coach busses of REIN members, providing them with a windshield tour of the City. Earlier this year staff also had the opportunity to address REIN members at a local conference.

Following the October 2008 tour of Brampton Don R. Campbell, President, Real Estate Investment Network, stated “It was a pleasure touring your town with 250 property investors and developers from across Canada. The positive economic fundamentals of the City of Brampton, coupled with their forward looking economic development office will help to keep Brampton on the Top 10 Ontario Investment Towns list for many years to come.”
