Trow Raises over $70,000 for SickKids Foundation and other Local Charities

Brampton headquartered Trow Global (Trow) announced that they have reached their goal of raising in excess of $70,000 for SickKids Foundation and other charities through their 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament which took place on June 4th, 2009.

Attending this year’s tournament was Trow founder, Bill Trow, the Honourable William Davis, as well as J.P. McMillan, Director, SickKids Leaders at SickKids Foundation and Dr. Ted Gerstle, Program Director, Division of General and Thoracic Surgery, The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

“This tournament has grown year over year and Trow is extremely proud to be associated with these very worthwhile charities,” says the organizer of the event, Mr. Lloyd Gonsalves, Vice President. “The benefits of the generous support of our sponsoring clients, suppliers, and our staff to SickKids will be there for years to come. We’re very grateful to all those who participated in this year’s event and look forward to continuing the tradition in 2010.”

Trow, with the help and generosity of their clients and suppliers raised $55,000 for SickKids Foundation, to be used towards the redevelopment of state-of-the-art Operating Suites at SickKids. Remaining monies raised are being donated to local Brampton charities.
