Flower City Parade Celebrates Brampton

Celebrate Brampton’s flower city heritage at the Flower City Parade on June 20, 2009 at 2 pm. See beautiful floral-themed parade floats, marching bands and colourful performers make their way through historic downtown Brampton. Starting at Church St. the parade route runs south along Main St. ending just past Gage Park at Frederick St.

Register to be a part of the parade, it’s a fun way to engage with the community and get your cause or company noticed. The deadline for applications is May 29, 2009.

The City of Brampton will be distributing free long-stem roses and packets of flower seeds to spectators lined up along the parade route. Don’t miss the celebrations as Brampton officially kicks off the start of the summer season!
