Southwest United Industries to purchase Brampton’s CEEL Limited

Southwest United Industries of Tulsa, OK has entered into a binding contract to purchase all outstanding shares of CEEL Limited of Brampton, Ontario.
Mr. Larry Raycraft established Canadian Electroplating Enterprises Limited in 1978 to service the heavy equipment hydraulic industry. In 1981 the company moved to its present location at 85 Stafford Drive in Brampton, Ontario. Mr. Neil Raycraft purchased the company from his father in 1994 changing the name to CEEL Limited. Currently CEEL provides hard chrome and sulfamate nickel-plating services from its 18,000 square foot facility to aerospace, military and general industrial customers. CEEL is Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defence Contractors Accreditation Program) accredited and approved by Boeing, Goodrich and Messier-Dowty. Neil Raycraft will remain as Vice President / General Manager of the facility which will retain its current name.
Southwest is excited to enter the Canadian market with the purchase of CEEL, the association of Mr.Raycraft and the outstanding group of customers and employees he assembled over the years. To support aircraft landing gear industry Southwests top priority is to install HVOF thermal spray coating and grinding into the CEEL facility with Ti- Cad plating and additional processes to follow.
Southwest United Industries provides non-destructive testing, shot peening, thermal spray coating, plating, grinding, anodizing and painting services to the aerospace industry. It is also Nadcap accredited and is certified and approved by all the major aerospace manufacturers. Southwest is also an FAA Repair Station utilizing thermal spray coating, plating, grinding and machining to repair aircraft component parts for airlines and third party maintenance facilities.
