Hbc New Brampton Head Office Joins Forces with Two Canadian Companies

Hudson’s Bay Company which recently relocated its head office to Queen Street & Torbram Road in Brampton, has joined forces with two major Canadian companies.

Hbc has entered into a three year contract with The Global Group and Harkel Office Furniture. These two companies will work with Hbc to redesign the head office with eco-friendly products.

Along with this partnership being one of the largest of its kind in the Canadian market place, it also coincides with Hbc’s 338th anniversary. All three companies share a deep commitment to serving the Canadian customer and environmental responsibility.

The redesign will furnish approximately 1200 new work stations in the Brampton office. This newly designed head office will house the Hbc’s buyers and retail operations personnel. The primary products that will be made out of recycled aluminium and will not get dumped into a landfill at the end of their cycle, but can be easily re-cycled into new aluminium products.

Hbc is Canada’s largest diversified general merchandise retailer. They operate in department (The Bay), mass merchandise (Zellers), specialty (Home Outfitters, Designer Depot) and discount (Fields) type formats. There are more than 600 retail outlets with approximately 70,000 associates located in every province in Canada.
