Join Brampton’s Business Cleanups this April

Businesses are taking a leading role in Brampton’s Spring Cleanup this year, and your business is encouraged to take part. Get a team of staff together, then head outside to clean up the litter around your property, in a local park or ravine, or anywhere at all that you think needs a little help. It’s a great way to show your civic pride, your respect for the environment, and have some fun outside while your company does its part to help keep our city clean and green.

Participate in one of our Cleanup events, especially for businesses:

Corporate Clean and Green Challenge
April 25, 2008 – All day
Take some time to clean up litter with your team, anywhere in the City.

Downtown Clean Sweep
April 26, 2008 – 9-11 am
Join local councillors to clean up the downtown, then come to Duggan Park from 11 am – 1 pm for a celebration.

Brampton’s Clean City Committee is here to help. Register your cleanup and we will be happy to provide gloves and bags for your group, and arrange for the bags of garbage that you collect to be picked up and disposed of. This is the 11th year of Brampton’s Spring Cleanup. In 2007, the month-long effort attracted more than 41,000 participants, including businesses, community groups, schools and neighbourhood groups. Thank you for your time, energy and commitment to beautifying Brampton!
