City Partners on Pandemic Planning Workshop for Businesses
Tuesday, Jan 24 2006, 11:00
On Wednesday March 1, 2006 the City of Brampton – Emergency Measures Office in Partnership with eBRP Solutions Inc. and in collaboration with the Brampton Board of Trade will present a Pandemic Planning Workshop of Businesses.
Around the globe media outlets and medical professionals have been discussing the potential impact of a pandemic. Experts have predicted that in addition to absentee rates from 15-50% among workers a pandemic would also affect customers and suppliers. Clearly the effects will be much greater than the direct impact.
The workshop will provide civic leaders and business owners with the opportunity to learn about the health, social and economic impacts of a Pandemic – and what can be done to prepare a business to weather the storm.
The event is open to all Brampton businesses that desire Pandemic planning information and runs from 7:30am to 12:30pm. Cost of the workshop, which includes a Continental Breakfast, is $10.
