Brampton is First Canadian Location for International Savoury Pie Shop

The PIE GUYZ, recently opened at 12-2120 North Park Drive is a spin-off of “The Pie Hut”, a family run South African savoury pie shop. With six locations in South Africa and two in England, owners Sugith and Sashika Jagdeep had their sights on the Canadian marketplace. Brampton seemed a good place to start.
The couple moved to Canada nine years ago and found there were limited cafes and bakeries that specialized in savoury meat and vegetarian pies. Hence the idea of introducing their family’s pie shop concept to the Canadian marketplace. “The PIE GUYZ” boasts a typical South African cuisine, but also caters to local tastes and pallets (including some familiar English, Indian and Meditterean flavours). As well as traditional chicken and steak pies, you will find an assortment of spicy flavors like Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Vindaloo, Lamb Curry Pie, Palak Paneer and many more favourites. The PIE GUYZ are also 100% Halal certified.
Sugith is currently promoting the local business across the GTA and he is confident that once people try the pies they will be impressed.
