Brampton among top places to invest

A recent report from The Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) ranks Brampton 5th among Ontario’s top places to invest.

The “Top Ontario Investment Towns 2011-2015” report analyzes current and future prospects for real estate investment opportunities across the Province. Using the latest statistics and reports from REIN’s staff and members, it looks at such factors as:

• Is the area's population growing faster than the provincial average?
• Are new infrastructures being built to handle that growth?
• Is the area creating new jobs and taking steps to maintain current employment levels?
• Will Brampton benefit from an economic or real estate ripple effect?
• Has political leadership created an economic growth atmosphere?
• Are there major transportation improvements in the works?

Brampton has consistently ranked among Ontario’s Top 10 for the last decade. In 2008 the City of Brampton’s Economic Development Office hosted 250 REIN members from across Canada. Consisting of property investors and developers the group was provided with a windshield tour of the community that highlighted investment opportunities.

Following the tour Don R. Campbell, President of REIN stated “The positive economic fundamentals of the City of Brampton, coupled with their forward looking economic development office will help to keep Brampton on the Top 10 Ontario Investment Towns list for many years to come.”
