Brampton Based Par-Pak Recognized at CPIA 2010 Industry Awards

Brampton based Par-Pak Ltd. was recently recognized by The Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA) as a winner at the 2010 Plastics Industry Awards. Par-Pak was one of two companies presented with The Plastics Stewardship Award.
The Plastics Stewardship Award recognizes companies that have contributed to the enhancement of the Canadian plastic industry’s stewardship and sustainability. Contributions may be in the areas of product development, reprocessing, energy recovery from waste, conservation and responsible use of resources.
In addition to recycling 100% of their internal trim scrap, and a large percentage of their client’s scrape, Par-Pak was also recognized for their significant energy conservation program. Par-Pak has been working with Partners in Project Green to achieve energy reductions in several areas of their business.
This is not the first CIPA award for Par-Pak. In 2008 Par-Pak’s President Sajjad Ebrahim was recognized as CPIA’s Leader of the Year.
