Location, Location, Location!
Just thirty minutes from Downtown Toronto, the City of Brampton is located beside the Toronto Pearson International Airport and accessible by three 400-series highways within the Greater Toronto Area. It is a municipality filled with exceptional locations, providing a perfect spot to bring your film vision to life.
Pride in our city’s history can be seen and felt throughout Brampton. We are a city of over 595,000 people, but we have preserved much of our built and natural heritage. This resulting mix provides us with the confidence Brampton will have the filming location you are looking for. To explore the many locations our city has to offer, visit the Ontario Media Development Corporation’s Location Library and search for "Brampton”, or contact the Brampton Film Office directly.
Insurance and Film Permit Application Form
At the City of Brampton, we make it a priority to keep our residents, employees, visitors and property safe and protected. That is why we require, prior to issuing film permits, a certificate demonstrating a minimum of $2 million in commercial general liability insurance coverage adding the City of Brampton as an additional insured. The Certificate of Insurance, along with a completed Film Application Form, must be submitted to the Film Office at email@example.com.
