Algoma University at Brampton has moved to the downtown core. Previously located in Sheridan College, Algoma’s downtown location resides at 24 Queen Street East in the Market Square Business Centre. Classes officially began downtown in early September and Algoma’s Brampton location provides courses in business administration and computer science programs. Currently with 7 faculty members and 60 students enrolled, Algoma will be looking to further expand its Brampton operation in the near future. Algoma’s new downtown location is an important addition to the downtown community.  Brampton residents now have more opportunities to enhance their education and the facility will provide skilled graduates to Brampton’s workforce.
