Starbucks Opens in Downtown Brampton
On Wednesday July 6th, Starbucks officially opened a new Downtown Brampton location. Situated in the beautifully restored Dominion Building at 8 Queen Street East, the downtown Starbucks also boasts a large patio overlooking Garden Square and the Rose Theatre. Store Manager Ajith Matthew was congratulated by Mayor Susan Fennell who welcomed Starbucks to the downtown business community.

Lone Star Texas Grill Now Open in Central Area
The Lone Star Texas Grill is now open at 156 West Drive on the Queen Street Corridor. Algoma University at Brampton has moved to the downtown core. Previously located in Sheridan College, Algoma’s downtown location resides at 24 Queen Street East in the Market Square Business Centre. Classes officially began downtown in early September and Algoma’s Brampton location provides courses in business administration and computer science programs.
