Swim to Survive 14+



The City of Brampton offers free water survival programs designed to equip participants with the skills necessary to feel comfortable in and around water.
  • Available for participants ages 14+
  • No prior skills are necessary
  • All instructors have obtained Learn to Swim certification through the Lifesaving Society

What will I learn in this program?

The goal of the program is to help participants achieve a greater comfort level in and around water. Participants will be taught basic swim skills (roll, tread, float).

How many classes are in one session?

One session consists of three classes. Each class is one hour in length.

How large are class sizes?

Each class consists of a maximum of 12 participants.

How deep are the swimming pools?

Depth of swimming pools varies by location. These details and other facility information can be found on individual Recreation Centre home pages and by contacting staff directly.
