The City of Brampton will celebrate the importance of music education by featuring performances by bands, singers, choirs and dancers from St. Roch Catholic Secondary School, Chinguacousy Secondary School and Agnes Taylor Public School.

Music Monday is a national event, organized by the Coalition for Music Education since 2005. The event’s anthem for 2017 is called, “Sing it Together,” commissioned by the Coalition for Music Education and co-written by award-winning songwriters Marc Jordan and Ian Thomas. At noon on May 1, a televised showcase concert will be held in Ottawa, and schools throughout the country will sing along.
