Fire Prevention Week

October 9 – 15 is Fire Prevention Week! Fire Prevention Week was established to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire, the tragic 1871 conflagration that killed more than 250 people, left 100,000 homeless, destroyed more than 17,400 structures and burned more than 2,000 acres. Every year, fire departments all across North America go out in the community during this week to promote fire safety in the home and how to keep you and your family safe. Brampton Fire & Emergency Services will be at various locations during this week. Come and visit us at the locations and events listed below:
