Redevelopment started in 2013 and includes:

Phase I - Completed May 2015

  • New office building
  • Storm water management pond
  • Two new entrances to access the yard

Phase II - Completed June 2017

  • Covered sand/salt handling and equipment storage facility
  • Road sign shop
  • Fleet maintenance bays and stores

Redevelopment completed in 2010 included:

  • New office building
  • Covered parking garage
  • Indoor sand/salt storage and handling facility
  • Indoor service bays
  • Berm and fence to block noise and light
  • New entrance to the yard

Proposed Future Yards

The City of Brampton has proposed building two new additional yards. A Class Environmental Assessment was completed in 2012 to investigate the impact these yards would have on the environment. Further evaluation of yard development, design and funding requirements is currently underway.
