- Discover snowboarding is an introductory lesson for the first time snowboarder. They will learn the basics of putting on equipment and moving around, climbing (walking up hill), use of lift and controlling direction using toe and heel edge. NOTE: Everyone progresses differently and some participants will not progress to continuous linked turns from the top of the hill
- Participants that have pre registered must check in with the Snow School office 1 hour prior to lesson time to receive rental shop forms and proceed to rental shop for sizing. (please bring copy of receipt). Due to structure of Discover lessons, participants arriving 15 minutes or later will miss very important information
- Clothing not provided. We highly recommend that participants wear a winter jacket, ski or snowboard pants, hat or helmet(provided in rental shop), proper winter gloves or mitts. Regular pants or jeans do not keep you warm and snow will stick to them making you wet and cold. Gloves or mitts will protect your hands from the elements
- Note: Registration can be done at the chalet the day of lesson. Please arrive one hour in advance of lesson to allow time for rental sizing. (based on availability)
