Temporary closure at Brampton Gateway Terminal next week

BRAMPTON, ON (October 17, 2019) - Brampton Gateway Terminal will be closed next week from Monday, October 21 to Friday October 25 at 6 pm, to complete the Region of Peel’s water main replacement project at the terminal.

Riders should note that all bus stops located inside the terminal and located along the bus lay-by lane on Steeles Avenue will be closed and relocated on street. All bus stops located along the bus lay-by lanes on Hurontario Street will be open.


The following routes will be affected by the closure:

11/11A Eastbound, 54, 199 and 511/511A/511C Eastbound
• Temporary bus stop will be located on the south side of Steeles Avenue, beside Loblaws
• Passengers must cross at Main Street and Steeles Avenue

2 Northbound and 502 Northbound
• Temporary bus stop will be located on the east side of Main Street, directly opposite Brampton Gateway Terminal
• Passengers must cross at Main Street and Steeles Avenue

8 and 52
• Temporary bus stop will be located in the bus-only bay on Main Street

3/3A, 4/4A/104, 11/11D Westbound, 53, 56, 57, and 511/511C Westbound
• Temporary bus stop will be located on the north side of Steeles Avenue, west of Brampton Gateway Terminal, in front of the Ocean’s Fresh Food Market parking lot

Customer Service inside the terminal will remain open during the construction.
