​BRAMPTON, ON (April 15, 2019) – This year, Good Friday takes place on Friday, April 19 and Easter Monday takes place on Monday, April 22.

As a result, a number of City services will be unavailable or will operate under reduced service levels.

Brampton City Hall will be closed from April 19 to 22, inclusive. Residents will not be able to apply in person for marriage licences, book civil wedding ceremonies, pay parking fines, or apply for permits or renew or apply for business licences during this time.

Several services will continue to operate normally, including Fire and Emergency Services and City of Brampton By-law Enforcement.

Brampton Transit

Brampton Transit will follow the below schedule for Easter weekend.

• April 19: Good Friday – Sunday/Holiday service
• April 20: Saturday – Regular Saturday service
• April 21: Easter Sunday – Regular Sunday/Holiday service
• April 22: Easter Monday – Regular weekday service (school routes will not operate)

Customer Service counters at our terminals will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

Brampton Recreation

Recreation Centres will be operating on reduced schedules. For up-to-date information regarding hours of operation and program schedules, phone your local recreation centre, call 311 or visit www.brampton.ca/recreation. The City’s Recreation Administration Office will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Easter at Mini-Moo Farm

Join us for fun activities and free giveaways at Chinguacousy Park's Easter at Mini-Moo Farm on Saturday, April 20 from 1 to 4 pm.

Brampton Animal Services
