City of Brampton Winter Weather Update

Due to the current and forecasted weather conditions, please note the following facility closures and program updates:

Recreation
All City of Brampton registered classes and drop-in programs for are cancelled for the remainder of the day. Recreation centres will remain open.

Skating Trails
Gage Park Skating Trail, Chinguacousy Skating Trail, Gore Meadows Skating Rink and Mount Pleasant Outdoor Skating Rink are temporarily closed due to weather conditions and accumulation of snow on the surfaces.

Libraries
All Brampton Library branches will be closed as of 2 pm today.

Transit
Brampton Transit is experiencing delays on some routes due to weather conditions. Please give yourself extra travel time. For updates, follow @BramptonTransit on Twitter or call 905.874.2999.

Snow clearing updates and information

• Visit www.brampton.ca/prepared for winter safety tips
• Email requests to 311@brampton.ca or call 311 for urgent situations regarding winter operations

Crews aim to have all roads, sidewalks, transit stops, crosswalks and trails maintained within 24 hours after the end of a snowfall. Clearing may take longer if weather is extreme. We appreciate our residents’ cooperation and patience during these conditions.
