About Housing Brampton
While the Region of Peel is the local housing authority that provides affordable rental units, the City is responsible for land use planning. Housing Brampton will focus on increasing the number of affordable rental and ownership units that are created.

The City will work with residents, housing providers, community stakeholders, and all levels of government to develop a “made in Brampton” strategy that responds to the current and future housing needs of Brampton residents.
