A burst of summer fun is coming to Brampton

BRAMPTON, ON (June 19, 2019) – Grab your swimsuit, picnic blanket and water bottle – summer has arrived and it’s time for some fun in Brampton!

A range of outdoor amenities are opening soon, and activities are taking place all summer.

Summer Movies under the Stars | July 5 to August 30

Bring your blanket, lawn chair and snacks to free, family-friendly outdoor movie screenings at various locations across the city. Games and activities will take place before the show.

Summer Camps | July 3 to September 1

Children and youth can stay active and learn all summer with a variety of day camps. New camps have been added for 2019. Before and after care is available for an additional fee and a camp lunch program is available at select locations.

Play in the Park | July 1 to August 31

Children ages 6 to 13 can visit a local park and play organized games and sports for free with City of Brampton program leaders, weekdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am at select locations.

Professor’s Lake beach and boathouse | open daily June 29 to September 3

Enjoy a day at the beach at Brampton’s own 65-acre, spring-fed lake. A supervised swimming area, a waterslide and boat rentals are available, weather and conditions permitting. Boathouse rentals are now available.

Chinguacousy Park summer amenities | open daily June 24 to September 3

Brampton’s destination park offers a range of summer fun activities, including a petting zoo, pony rides, mini golf, paddleboats, a carousel and train ride, a spray pad and a playground.

Eldorado Park Outdoor Pool | open daily June 29 to September 3

Spend an afternoon at Brampton’s only outdoor pool, surrounded by natural forest on the banks of the Credit River.

Spray Pads

Stay cool at 14 spray pads and wading pools across the city.
