“Brampton’s creative community is booming with talent,” said Mayor Patrick Brown. “In partnership with MusicOntario, these workshops will bring our creative community together, and foster their relationships with industry experts and one another. As one of the main goals in the City’s Culture Master Plan, Talent Development is of utmost importance in supporting local artists.”

“MusicOntario is thrilled to work with the City of Brampton to deliver these sessions for music entrepreneurs and artists,” said MusicOntario’s manager, Emy Stantcheva. “The Creative Exchange Pro event in 2017 highlighted the City’s true commitment to its creative class, and we look forward to continued collaboration to serve Brampton’s music community. As a music industry association, MusicOntario’s mandate is to provide opportunities for professional development, showcasing, and networking for the indie music community across the province, regardless of geography, genre, or career stage, and we hope this partnership is just the beginning of our outreach in this thriving music market.”
