BRAMPTON, ON – The City of Brampton will host an information session on Thursday, September 13, 2018, for certified candidates in the 2018 Municipal Election. The information session will take place from 7 pm to 9 pm at Century Gardens Recreation Centre, 340 Vodden Street East, Brampton.

The session will address numerous election-related topics, including voter eligibility, advance voting, candidate and scrutineer conduct, financial reporting, and election sign regulations. An electronic vote tabulator and an accessible voting unit will be on site for viewing.

Candidates are asked to register by emailing bramptonvotes@brampton.ca to confirm their attendance. If a candidate is unable to attend, they may register a designate to attend on their behalf. Registrations must be received by September 10.

"With less than two months to the Municipal Election, we are providing candidates with an opportunity to learn more about the election process, and we will be sharing important information specific to Brampton,” said Peter Fay, City Clerk, and Returning Officer for 2018 Brampton Municipal Election.
