The City invites you to give back for the holidays

BRAMPTON, ON – Join City staff in celebrating the holiday season by helping local families in need. In November and December, staff will be hosting three campaigns to give back – Toys for Tickets, Stuff-a-Jeep and a Food and Toy Drive.

Toys for Tickets
From Monday, November 27 to Friday, December 1, motorists who receive a Penalty Notice for parking are invited to pay it off by donating a new children's toy or a gift card, with receipt, equal to the penalty amount. Toys must be in original packaging and should be intended for ages newborn to 18 years. All toys collected will be donated to the local Toys for Tots program, administered by the Salvation Army of Peel Region and supported by Peel Regional Police.

Motorists who want to give back through Toys for Tickets may attend City Hall or 485 Chrysler Drive between November 29 and December 8, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with their toy or gift card.

Motorist who receive a Penalty Notice for parking in an accessible space without a permit, parking in an accessible loading zone, parking in a fire route or parking on private property are not eligible to participate in the program.

Enforcement officers will also be at local Walmart locations on Saturdays, November 18 to December 9, from 10 am to 4 pm accepting food and toys to support those in need in the Brampton community.

• November 18 - 50 Quarry Edge Drive
• November 25 - 5085 Mayfield Road
