Are you celebrating a business milestone?

Brampton – On Wednesday, October 18, the Economic Development and Culture Department will host its third annual Business Milestone event to recognize Brampton businesses for their significant contributions to the city and the local economy.

The event will take place at the Rose Theatre during Small Business Month, and will feature cultural components by local artists. Invitations are also being extended to Brampton businesses that have been established in Brampton for 10 years or more. Brampton entrepreneurs will also be invited, with the intention of creating mentorship opportunities with the more established businesses at the event.

Since 2015, the City has honoured Brampton businesses at this event. Last year, DavisWebb LLP, a prominent Brampton law firm with strong roots in the area, celebrated the century milestone.

“We’re looking forward to recognizing the legacy builders in our city,” said Councillor Jeff Bowman, Chair of Economic Development and Culture. “We have exceptional businesses in Brampton, and adding our entrepreneurs to the mix at this event can only help spark bold dreams for our honourees 50 years from now.”

Brampton is a thriving hub of commercial activity, boasting close to 9,000 businesses, from national corporate headquarters to small and medium enterprises. Each contribute positively to Brampton’s economy, and the City of Brampton honours them by recognizing significant business milestones.
