Ward 2 and 6 Regional Councillor, Michael Palleschi was born and raised in the Heart Lake area of Brampton. He has participated in numerous community events and fundraisers and continues to be actively involved in volunteering and promoting activities that contribute to the betterment of Brampton.
Michael is committed to making responsible choices at City Hall. He takes a proactive approach to problem solving and his experience as a business owner has helped him develop effective project management skills and an appreciation for developing cost-effective solutions to demanding problems. Michael believes strongly in transparency and accountability and these are fundamental tenets of his tenure on Brampton Council.
Throughout his second term as Regional Councillor, he will continue to be a strong advocate for making his community a safer, better place to live while encouraging strong economic growth. Having grown up in a family heavily involved in their community, Michael has experienced firsthand the degree of dedication and hard work it takes to be an effective community leader. Michael's experience in policy and procedure coupled with his unrelenting drive to improve the quality of life for his community are hallmarks of his commitment to Brampton City and Peel Regional Councils.
Michael is a proud family man with a wife and three children aged 6, 10 and 11. He understands the challenges young families face, especially when it comes to their hard earned dollars.
