Aims and Objectives

To monitor the Churchville Heritage Conservation District Plan for its effectiveness in guiding the conservation of the district.

To act as liaison for district residents, preparing, when necessary, materials that may assist in furthering the appreciation of Churchville’s heritage

To participate in the supervision and administration of any funding programs for the district

Through the Brampton Heritage Board, to advise Council on the appropriateness of changes proposed within the district through the administration of the permit application process

Through the Brampton Heritage Board, to report to Council on an annual basis concerning the Committee’s activities
Composition:
No fewer than seven and no more than 13 citizen members:
1. Four to eight district residents
2. One to two Brampton Heritage Board members
3. One Councillor
4. One to two members at large
Term of Office:
Concurrent with the term of Council, ending November 30, 2014, or until successors are appointed

Meetings:
Second Monday of each month, if required, at 7:00 p.m. at the Churchville Fire Hall
