expandSpecial Needs Head Instructor

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, implementing and delivering age-appropriate programs
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a safe and clean program environment
  • Supervise, train and evaluate part-time staff and volunteers to maintain high level of service
  • Assist program participants with daily needs and personal hygiene if required
  • Various administrative duties

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Current Standard First Aid/CPR”C”
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certificate, an asset
  • Experience developing and conducting staff training
  • Experience coaching and evaluating staff
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Standards
  • Customer Service Excellence training
  • Proven leadership skills along with the ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills coupled with superior customer service skills
  • Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to commencing employment

Rate of Pay:

$12.00 to $20.00 per hour

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, implementing and evaluating program to maintain a high level of service
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a safe and clean program environment
  • Adhere to Confidentiality guidelines as it pertains to the program and the participants.
  • Assist program participants with daily needs and personal hygiene if required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Current  Standard First Aid/CPR”C”
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certificate, an asset
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Standards
  • Proven leadership skills along with the ability to work within a team environment
  • Customer Service Excellence training

Rate of Pay:

Minimum wage to $18.00 per hour
