Pathways Planning
The City of Brampton has a large pathway system, connecting parks and valleys together, providing convenient pedestrian and cycling routes across Brampton. Brampton's open space infrastructure is a community asset that has helped to distinguish Brampton from other communities in Ontario.
PathWays Master Plan (2002)
Brampton's PathWays Master Plan was a bold step in helping the City to improve its pathways trail system. The Plan has three volumes:
- Brampton’s PathWays Master Plan Volume 1 - core objectives and strategic actions
- Brampton’s PathWays Planning and Design Guidelines Volume 2 - guidelines to assist the City in the development and maintenance of the pathways system
- Brampton’s Pathways Technical Appendices Volume 3 - a record of the public information collected over the course of the plan study
