The City of Brampton is serious about being a "film-friendly" city. Our film office is dedicated to promoting Brampton as a film location and is proficient in government services, on-set support, sourcing locations and any other help you may require. We take great pride in our customer service. We do not charge for film permits.

The Brampton Film Office will offer you a one-stop shopping experience, as well as save you time and money, by:

- Scouting locations; 
- Providing information on facilities;
- Assisting you with set and other related support
- Liaising with other levels of government and individual offices;
- Facilitating access to government, individuals and locations; 
- Granting permits; and
- Consulting and providing you with community statistics.

Insurance and Film Permit Application Form

At the City of Brampton, we make it a priority to keep our residents, employees, visitors and property safe and protected.  That is why we require, prior to issuing film permits, a certificate demonstrating a minimum of $2 million in commercial general liability insurance coverage adding the City of Brampton as an additional insured.  The Certificate of Insurance, along with a completed Film Permit Application, must be sent to the Film Liaison at film@brampton.ca.
