This February 26, the City of Brampton will be co-hosting the Smart Cities Technologies Summit
with the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC)
To be held at The Rose theatre in downtown Brampton, the summit will connect government, citizens, academics and the industry as they work together to help cities and municipalities develop their own innovative applications to best serve their citizens’ needs.
In January, two City projects were named among the world’s 50 most transformative smart projects of the year
The ITAC summit will feature four panel discussions on human mobility, data privacy and security, connectivity, and modernizing city-based services and civic innovation. Leaders in the smart city space – including CIOs from Canada and abroad – will present and discuss the latest developments, as well as strategies, trends, challenges and opportunities in the sector.
We have panellists joining us from Accenture, Ryerson, Metrolinx, and more.
