Brampton Farmers' Market

Tomato LogoThe 2012 Brampton Farmers’ Market runs from June 16 to October 6, every Saturday morning, from 7 am to 1 pm, rain or shine.

The Market will expand in 2012 and we are currently looking for growers and producers.  Click here for more details and a list of open vendor categories.

Find out more about The Pie Guyz, one of the new vendors for 2012.

Each Saturday, Main Street in Downtown Brampton is closed to traffic and turned into a vibrant outdoor festival marketplace. Visitors gather to buy the freshest, local Ontario produce, hand-made crafts, preserves, baked goods and much more from more than 40 vendors.

The produce you select is picked only hours earlier…from the field straight to you with no stops, no delays along the way. Brampton Farmers’ Market vendors come from as far away as Beamsville, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Vineland Station and as close as Georgetown but still within the 100-mile locally grown radius. Brampton Farmers’ Market is a producer-based, seasonal farmers’ market and therefore the customer can buy straight from the farmer.

Your Brampton Farmers' Market Experience

Live entertainment takes place in Garden Square every Saturday of the market from 10 am to 12 noon.

The Brampton Arts Council works with the Brampton Farmers’ Market to bring local artists and craftspeople to the market. Art in the Open, located in Garden Square, operates during the same hours as the Farmers’ Market. Brampton Arts Council members sell watercolours, dried-flower arrangements, woodcrafts, native arts, jewellery and lots more…all unique and hand-made by the artists. Artists and craftspeople interested in becoming a part of Art in the Open should contact the Brampton Arts Council.

Take some time to browse through the unique downtown businesses that surround the market while you are in the area.

Free parking is available at the four municipal parking garages in the downtown all day Saturday – City Hall, Nelson Square, Market Square and John Street. All parking garages are conveniently near the Farmers' Market.
