Award Categories

Recipients will be selected from six categories.
Companies that have shown impressive accomplishments within a certain area and are deserving of special recognition may be awarded an Award of Distinction.
| Advanced Manufacturing |
This category recognizes companies operating in the automotive, plastics and rubber, chemical and aerospace sectors. Companies that are using advanced technology techniques and processes to increase the productivity of the manufacturing process.

| Food and Beverage |
Companies entering this category are involved in food and beverage manufacturing and processing.
|
| Information and Communication Technology |
This category recognizes companies involved in all forms of technology used to create, store, exchange and use information in its various forms. Businesses include: telecommunications, new media, Internet, software, etc. |
| Retail, Administration and Logistics |
Businesses in this category are establishments operating in the retail/wholesale trades, or involved in the transportation and/or warehousing of goods. |
| Business Service |
This category encompasses professional and business services, including financial, real estate, insurance, consulting and personnel sectors – as well as recognizing companies that have excelled in a customer service-focused industry. |
| Emerging Business |
This category recognizes companies which have been in business for a minimum of two years and have demonstrated advancement and/or excellence in any field. |
| Community Contribution |
This award is given to a company contributing to the community above and beyond. |
