The Muskoka Chair Project

Take on the #MuskokaChairChallenge

The City of Brampton invites community organizations, schools and artists to celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary by submitting a proposal to create a Muskoka Chair. These legacy chairs will be placed in one of Brampton’s many public spaces. You may submit more than one proposal.

How do you get involved?

The theme for this legacy project is Strong, Proud, and Free – three words to define and characterize present-day Canada. Come up with a design concept, take on the challenge and show your national pride.

As we move forward and the successful applicants begin building and creating their chairs, we will be following your progress to capture and share the movement on social media. #MuskokaChairChallenge.

This project is funded by the Government of Canada.

Please note: this is a project that does not have a fee to participate and all supplies required as outlined in your proposal will be supplied (Terms and Conditions will be outlined).
