Brampton art galleries are dedicated to promoting dialogue among residents on engaging ideas, initiatives and issues of today as expressed through contemporary art.
Brampton City Hall, Atrium
The Art in the Atrium is an open-concept space located on the ground floor at Brampton City Hall. It is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and closed weekends and holidays.
The Art in the Atrium Program at City Hall supports professional contemporary practice in the visual arts. To promote the local development of visual arts, artists from Brampton and the Peel region are given preference, but artists from other Ontario localities may apply. Proposals are selected by a jury of visual arts professionals, and are reviewed for quality of artistic work in relation to the themes developed by the City of Brampton.
Rose Theatre Brampton
The Rose Theatre gallery is located on the second floor of the Rose Theatre lobby, aptly situated for guests attending performances. Visitors can sign in at the Box Office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday to Saturday.
The art in the Rose Gallery supports the themes of the performance seasons, complementing the range of shows with an enhanced experience. Proposals are peer juried annually for quality and thematic fit.
