During the weekend of November 16 to 18, residents and visitors celebrate Santa’s arrival to Brampton by participating in a frost filled celebration including the Annual Tree Lighting ceremony, Holiday Pop-Up Shoppe, and welcoming Mr. and Mrs. Claus at the Brampton Santa Claus Parade.

One of a kind vendors will fill the City Hall Campus to create a one-stop destination for unique gifts, seasonal food and a whimsical atmosphere you can bring home and share with the family. This market will feature entertainment, DIY demos and more for you and your family to see.

The Annual Tree Lighting ceremony acts as the weekend kickoff celebration to the holiday season in Brampton. The Tree Lighting Ceremony includes a community countdown to light up the 60 ft. spruce tree decorated with over 10,000 Christmas lights in Ken Whillans Square. This free event hosts musical entertainment, a variety of indoor and outdoor activities geared to the entire family.

Saturday, November 17

The annual Brampton Santa Claus Parade has been tradition in Brampton since 1985. Join the crowds that line the streets to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Claus to town at Canada's largest night time parade. Arrive early to get a good seat and don't forget to bring your lawn chair!
