Due to the large scale of the event, and to ensure the safety of residents and event guests, temporary road closures will be in place which may affect entry and/or exit to your residence. We hope that by notifying you of the road closure locations and times in advance, you and your family are able to manage these closures effectively.

Please obey all posted parking regulations. Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed.

 

Road Closures 

The Following roads will be closed:

9:00 am, July 1 - 12:00 am, July 2

  • Goodwood Road from Bramalea Road to Goldcrest Road
10:00 am, July 1 - 1:00 am, July 2
  • Queen Street from Central Park Drive to Bramalea Road
10:00 am, July 1 - 12:00 am, July 2
  • Central Park Drive from Hanover Road to Hilldale Crescent (easterly most intersection) - NEW CLOSURE
10:00 am, July 1 - 8:00 pm, July 1
  • Queen Street (Westbound lanes only) from Glenvale Boulevard to Bramalea Road
  • Queen Street (Eastbound lanes only) from Dixie Road to Central Park Drive
8:00 pm, July 1 - 12:00 am, July 2
  • Queen Street (both directions) from Glenvale Boulevard to Bramalea Road
  • Queen Street (both directions) from Dixie Road to Central Park Drive
  • Bramalea Road (both directions) from Kensington Road to Central Park Drive
  • Central Park Drive (both directions) from Hanover Road to Peel Centre Drive
9:30 pm, July 1 -10:30 pm, July 1
  • Central Park Drive, from Hilldale Crescent (southernmost intersection) to Bramalea Road


Additional "No Parking" emergency lanes will be implemented for the duration of the event on the following road to ensure continued access for Fire and Emergency vehicles:

  • Goldcrest Road from Central Park Drive to Glenvale Boulevard

Getting to the Event

Parking

  • As there is limited parking on site, residents are encouraged to walk, ride their bikes, or take public transit to the event whenever possible
  • Limited parking is available on site at a rate of $20 per vehicle, on a first-come, first-serve basis
  • The following alternative parking locations are available within close proximity to Chinguacousy Park:
    • Bramalea City Centre
    • Brampton Civic Centre
    • Greenbriar Recreation Centre
    • Hanover Public School
    • Hilldale Public School
    • Howden Recreation Centre
    • Lester B. Pearson Catholic School
    • St. Jean Brebeuf Catholic School
    • Terry Miller Recreation Centre

Take advantage of the FREE Brampton Transit Shuttle Service from one of the following four locations:
  • Mount Pleasant GO Station
  • Trinity Common Mall
  • Sheridan College
  • Gore Meadows Community Centre
